What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available from 4:00 PM. An earlier arrival may be arranged upon prior request, provided the accommodation is not still occupied.
Check-out can take place in the late afternoon, which is particularly appreciated for weekend stays.
What is the cancellation and modification policy?
Simply contact the owner by email or phone. From the booking date up to 30 days before arrival, the cancellation fee is 10%. From 30 days to 1 week before arrival, the fee is 50%. Within one week of arrival, the fee is 100%.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, under certain conditions: dogs over 10 kg are not accepted; for other animals, prior approval is required. Dogs must not go on the beds, their waste must be cleaned up, and they must not disturb the neighbours or other guests.

Is there parking on-site or nearby?
The space in front of the house is reserved for loading and unloading luggage. For longer parking, the recommended spot is opposite the church, 30 metres from the house, in order to keep the shared outdoor spaces clear.
How many guests can the property accommodate?
The estate offers 6 accommodations with a total capacity of 18 guests: 3 gîtes sleeping 4 people each, and 3 rooms sleeping 2 people each.
What equipment and amenities are included?
Each gîte has a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, hob), bed linen and towels, and a wifi repeater ensuring a strong connection throughout. A television is available on the estate.
How far is the property from the town centre, train station and shops?
Local shops (a supermarket open Sunday mornings, a bakery, a butcher and an organic greengrocer) are 5 to 10 minutes away by car, in the Distré retail area. Local producers nearby offer strawberries, melons and asparagus in season.
Saumur town centre and its train station are 15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bike.

No, the property is accessible by car (15 minutes from Saumur train station) or by bike (20 minutes).

What are the nightly rates?
Rates are fixed year-round: €110 for the Chambre Aile, €120 for the Gîte Cadre Noir, €140 for the Gîte Hélène Boucher, and €160 for the Gîte Andromède. All rates are for 2 guests, with a supplement of €15 per additional person per night. For groups, the 2 rooms in the main house — sharing a bathroom and WC — can be booked additionally at €100 per room for 2 guests.
What are the conditions for stays with children?
Babies sleeping in a travel cot are welcome free of charge (2 cots available on-site). Children have access to a games room (board games, comics, archery, darts, badminton), while teenagers and adults can enjoy table tennis, Mölkky and pétanque.
The only rules: put the games away after use, no shooting arrows at the roofs, and keep footballs away from the flowerbeds.

Who manages the property?
The estate is managed directly by the owner, Jean-Philippe, who is present on-site for virtually all stays (except in exceptional medical or family circumstances). His presence is discreet and respectful of guests’ privacy, though necessary for pool maintenance among other things.
What are the pool rules?
The pool is open and heated from May to October, weather permitting. In the shoulder season (May–June and September–October), opening hours are 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM; in high season (July–August), it is accessible at all times. The pool is fenced for child safety, but children remain under the exclusive responsibility of their parents.
Glass is not permitted near the pool, nor is throwing objects into the water or tampering with the technical equipment. Inflatables and pool toys must be put away after use. Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9:00 PM, out of respect for neighbouring residents.
What is the estate’s environmental and social commitment?
The estate is self-sufficient in electricity thanks to solar panels.
No chemical products are used for weeding, waste is sorted and a compost system handles organic matter.
Laundry is handled by ASPIRE, a ressourcerie committed to professional reintegration, operating to strict ecological standards.
Grounds maintenance is carried out by ISTA, a structure providing employment for people with disabilities.
Particular care is taken to minimise water and electricity consumption.
